All of our engineers are Door and Hardware Federation national diploma registered (DHF) in gate safety, ensuring you receive the highest quality service in line with industry standards.
We also offer a comprehensive advisory service and use hi-tech software, including scaled CAD drawn details, providing you with the chance to see a digital design of your gate for approval.
This service is available for customers throughout the UK, with Heartlands Metal Craft taking on all sized bespoke projects for both residential and commercial properties as well as trade services.
Our History
Heartlands Metal Craft are supported by two decades of British excellence from our team. Our Director, Jason, was an original approved member of the Gate Safe Register, having passed approval as Engineer Number 9 (his number, 1009, demonstrating this). Jason’s development within the industry since this point has continued to be in line with industry standards.
Now managing a team of 9 under Heartlands Metal Craft LTD, our team is built on the strengths of our employees, which crosses industry experience in structural steelwork, decorative ironwork, electrical work, as well as administration.
This means our customers receive a service that has always, and will continue to, align itself with the highest quality standards of the industry.

We ordered gates for a driveway last year but were let down badly by the driveway suppliers so we had gates but no drive. However Jason and his team at Heartlands were very supportive and were able to source a builder to erect pillars to hang the gates and are going to help further with recommendations for someone to complete the work. Jason @ HMC was able to assess my requirements, giving an insightful explanation of different features with pros and cons which gave me confidence, something I did not feel when speaking to other gate companies who seemed to be out to make a quick buck. HMC made my decision an easy one.
Jason and the team arrived promptly. They were knowledgeable very efficient & clean with their work showing great care and diligence. Not to mention the detailed plans, and drawings to ensure I was completely satisfied before the job was even started. This gave me great confidence in their ability.
I had 2 sets of electric gates installed, new intercom, with railing and lighting on the perimeter. Top job.
