Enterprise
Promotion
Do you have a novel idea for teaching people what enterprise is all about?
Could you suggest a new way to enthuse people to try out enterprise for
themselves?
Would you like support to experiment a little?
If you have a proposal for a project to develop enterprise capability,
you may be eligible for support from the Enterprise Promotion Fund.
What is the Enterprise Promotion Fund?
The Enterprise Promotion Fund is designed to encourage new ideas to promote
awareness and understanding of enterprise. Its purpose is to encourage
experimentation, the evaluation of new ideas and the identification and
spread of best practice in an area where there is currently too little
knowledge.
The Enterprise Promotion Fund aims to:
" raise awareness of enterprise
" raise understanding of how to acquire further skills or information
relevant to engaging in enterprise
" inspire and motivate individuals to gain practical experience of
enterprise
" encourage the development of enterprise skills, eg risk assessment
and management.
The Fund supports creativity in promoting enterprise awareness across
all sections of society. We are looking to support projects which will
test out new ways of showing people what enterprise is all about and equipping
them with the understanding and enthusiasm to try out enterprise for themselves.
Who can apply for funding from the Enterprise Promotion Fund?
The Fund is open to bids from the private and voluntary sectors and from
public sector organisations which can demonstrate significant private
or voluntary sector support for their projects.
Applications should be submitted by 31st October 2003. For furthur information
