Financial Support for Employment Related
Property Development Sites in East Birmingham
LIMITED AVAILABILITY - Works completion
by December 2004.
* Programme aims to address the lack of readily available development sites
*To provide potential for inward investment and jobs by creating development opportunities
*To initiate development opportunities and drive forward site reclamation, clearance and property refurbishment.
Works may
include:
*Site reclamation, servicing, decontamination of underused and vacant
land and construction of new buildings and infrastructure
*Funds NOT available for the purchase of land and property
Who can apply:
*Any developer or business located within the ERDF objective 2 target
area:
Digbeth, Heartlands, Bordesley, Bromford, Kingsbury, Minworth
*SME i.e. employs between 2 and 250
*Balance sheet less than £16m, turnover up to £24m and no
more than 25% owned by non-SME
Outputs:
*Projects
will be assessed against the output targets of the programme: new jobs
created, land reclaimed, environmental improvements and equality of opportunity.
